Wonderful interview with Sister Simone Campbell. Sister Simone says that the nuns base their work on the Gospel, in solidarity with those living on the margins. They seek to live like Jesus did, and their plain clothes reflect the earliest tradition in which the nuns wore the dress of the day. The nuns have a bus tour going on, in which they not only talk about their work, but are seeking to educate people about the harmfulness of the Paul Ryan budget. Sister Simone contrast this budget, which cuts off vulnerable people, with Jesus, who gave bread to the hungry.
